In a hadith narrated in Bukhari and Muslim, the Prophet (SAW) said,
“When Ramadaan comes, go for ‘Umrah, for ‘Umrah in (that month) is equivalent to Hajj.”
Ramadan is the most blessed month of the year; it is a time of reflection and spiritual growth. Why not enjoy the most blessed place on earth during this time by going to Makkah? Because it is where we go to get closer to the Almighty, to seek His please and His mercy. Performing Umrah in Ramadan, not only do you get combined blessings of this special time and place but, according to the sahih hadith, you get the reward of performing Hajj with the Prophet (SAW).
