As we approach the end of the beautiful month of Ramadan, we pray that Allah has accepted all of our Duah’s and strengthened our Imaan’s for the coming months. Without a doubt it has been one of the most toughest Ramadan’s with the many sad events that occurred. We pray that Allah blesses us to be able to make it to the next Ramadan.
We leave Ramadan with a heavy heart but look forward to the upcoming Eid-Al-Fitr Celebrations.
Here are 6 Sunnah’s of our beloved prophet (Peace be upon him) for Eid-Al-Fitr
1: Take a bath (Ghusl) before going prayer. [Malik]
2: Eat an odd number of dates before leaving home for Eid Prayers. [Bukhari]
3: Dress your absolute best (while showing modesty). [Ibn Khuzaymah]
4: Proclaim Takbir “Allahu akbar, Allahu akbar, La ilaha illAllah; Allahu akbar, Allahu akbar, walillahi al-hamd” while traveling to the Masjid. [Al-Zuhri]
5: Congratulate one another by saying “May Allah accept from us and you”. [ibn Hajar]
6: Return home by a different path from which you went to the Masjid, so that the two paths will testify in your favor on the Day of Judgement. [Bukhari]
Eid is a day to pray, to love, to care and to thank Allah for his benevolence. Quba Travel wishes you and your family with all the happiness and divine blessings on this auspicious occasion.
